Tried the matte velour lipstick and really liked how the colour popped! Very vibrant and a very lovely colour makes lips look a natural tinted colour with a matte finish. The only thing I wasn’t too keen on was that the texture wasn’t the best as left lips with a layer that felt a little rough and bumpy and lasted a while as didn’t sit on the lips as well. The packaging was absolutely beautiful looked so expensive and pleasant to open, also came with a sample of a variety of other colours which was nice they were beautiful colours too. 💋

I got the Code 8 Matte Velour lipstick in shade Marrakech Gardens. It has nice sturdy packaging and the lid is magnetic which I always love in a lipstick. It goes on smoothly and is much more moisturising and comfortable on the lips than some other matte lipsticks. The things I don't love are that it I didn't find it very long lasting. I needed to reapply after less than two hours. I also didn't love the colour on me. It pulled quite orange on me which isn't unusual as this happens to me often but it didn't look anything like the swatches on the website. Still a good solid matte lipstick is you don't mind reapplying.

Beautiful long lasting colour which I didn’t need to top up throughout the day. The texture is nice it’s nice and smooth doesn’t make your lips go dry and make sure it looks well moist throughout the day also has a nice smell scent to it. Will definitely be trying different colours in this range.

The lipstick comes in luxurious packaging, feels premium. Pigmentation is good as well, gives demi matte finish. Has a slight scent to it. Not exactly touch proof but stays for good amount of time.
